I can’t believe how fast this summer is speeding by. Another week has come and gone, which means it’s time for me to dole out a few of my favourite links, posts and design finds.

With not one but two kitties, keeping plants alive around the house is always a challenge. Fortunately, Molly of Almost Makes Perfect has shared the recipe for her DIY cat repellent, a unique blend of essential oils to drive your beloved fur ball away from the greenery. Evidently, scents like eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass and peppermint are repugnant to felines – who knew? I’ll definitely be giving this repellent a whirl next time I’m inspired to tackle a DIY project. Molly has also included the most adorable downloaded bottle label to identify your concoction.
If you find yourself in Amsterdam this summer and aren’t sure what to wear to the local juicery, SF Girl by Bay has you covered.
Coming from an interfaith family, I felt particularly sentimental over this photo of women’s gymnastics all-around champions Simone Biles, Aly Raisman and Aliyah Mustafina (a Christian, Jew and Muslim, respectively) sharing the podium in Rio. Gymnastics is also the only sport I electively watch, so I was extra happy about that.

There are no words to describe how much I am digging this DIY hotdog balloon garland, courtesy of The House That Lars Built. Perfect for that last summer BBQ!
Have a nice weekend!
