In truth, I was in denial. It wasn’t until Amazon deduced from my purchasing history that I might be interested in kangaroo jerky that I finally admitted how much sh*t I was buying for my dog (or rather, my family’s dog). Since George took over the house this past January, I’ve logged several hours of online shopping, combing product reviews until my fingers turned blue and generally acting like a super obnoxious parent who insists that their child play with artisanal wooden toys from Vermont, or whatever. As such, I’ve gotten a pretty good handle on pet supplies – I know what’s good (I’d better, at this point). With Labour Day weekend approaching, I thought I would share a few of my favourite finds for those of you heading to cottage country with your canine companion.
